Tracking ~ 8:30 am Obedience ~ approximately 10:30 am Protection ~ approximately 12:00 noon
Wednesday (summer months only)
Obedience ~ 6:00 pm Protection ~ 7:00 pm
Membership Information
Visitors are always welcome! We do ask that you call or email ahead of time to let us know you're coming.
Newcomers interested in applying for membership at LWDC are expected to attend training for several weeks in a row prior to being considered for membership. This is so that we may accurately assess the commitment of the individual, and so everyone can get to know each other a bit in order determine if the applicant and club will be good fits for one another.
If the applicant already has a dog, we will evaluate the dog for the drive and temperament appropriate for Schutzhund/SDA training, and if the dog proves suitable we will gladly allow the applicant to work his/her dog in all 3 phases during this introductory period before formal membership is offered.
Membership Update 11/09: Unfortunately we are not accepting new members at this time.
We have reached capacity in terms of the number of handlers and dogs we can accomodate while maintaining a high quality of training.
Training Fees
$400 per year, paid quarterly.
One-time new member fee of $100 due upon acceptance of membership.
We do not have paid helpers or trainers. Training fees cover club insurance, equipment, resource library, maintenance of training grounds, seminars and other training opportunities.
USA/DVG/WDA/SDA members are welcome to join us for guest training.
